Welp, my timeline is already too slow! A few days ago Anthropic announced their Claude 3.7, which okay, hasn’t totally broken anything on my timeline here, but just today Apple did: releasing their M3 Ultra, which exceeded my guess of 256GB RAM for 2025 and can be configured to 512GB RAM which enables running of models of up to 600 billion parameters… you can run almost the full deepseek model locally!!!!
