Indeed it is, but the goal of this tutorial was to focus on the tooling between React, Redux, and Shopify — and doing it directly in the client was the easiest friction-free way to show newcomer devs that tooling.

Ideally, you’d want to ultimately build some sort of cron job that could retrieve your product data, then compile the entire site to static pages according to that data, fully fulfilling any SEO requirements (and making page loads way faster anyway!)
